So I'm considering maybe having TWO featured artist sites a month, one for artists and one for sculptures instead of going back and forth every other month.

And I've been playing around with the idea of doing a short interview with folks that sell supplies, accessories, or tools for other artists to use, to help promote those that aren't huge establishments gain better exposure to those that might be interested in their wares for creating their art.

What does everyone think about that?

I think it's working out nicely to have two artist featured... and they seem to be getting some good viewing so far too ... which will hopefully only increase as time goes by.

I need to get started on finding two folks for April... I am SO lagging this month - ACK!

I would, but doesn't everyone already know about him? I thought it would be cool to feature artists that maybe folks hadn't run across yet and help promote them and their work rather than folks that don't really have a need to get more exposure.

Though I suppose we could do another monthly interview - one for the established artists & sculptors just because maybe folks would enjoy seeing their answers for an interview! I just am a tad reluctant to give away a space for an artist or sculptor that isn't as well known, as the famous folks already are SO visible to collectors and the general public.

Might be cool to do a "spotlight feature" on folks, and it could range from established famous folks to suppliers.

Or do you think that it would not be a bad idea to also feature really established artists/sculptors for the SotM (Sites of the Month)?

Nah your right I just love his work. Its not like we could get to paint like him through an interview hehe. I think you should just keep it for unknown artists 4 sure.


Oh do you know of Sarah.B.Seiter she is a pretty awesome artist. A lot of digital work and a little traditional.
