to symbolize the ocean, she appears to be floating---her hands hold a string of fish, she is embellished with crystals and beads to glisten like the water feature she represents. Made entirely by hand, she has needlefelted flowing hair and her features are needlesculpted and handpainted----this water fey also wears the celtic symbol for water on her headdress

:love: Thank you all for those encouraging remarks,since she was sewn entirely by hand it was time consuming but enjoyable stress releaver! I make all my dolls the same way, sewn by hand, needlesculpted features and needlefelted hair, plus I hand paint their faces. My contribution to Art via cloth--unfortunately cloth dolls haven't received their due recognition in the Art world-----some day :shysmile:
